Dr. Moody earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Virginia in 1969 and his MD from the Medical College of Georgia in 1976. He received the World Humanitarian Award in Denmark in 1988 and a bronze medal for Human Relations at the New York Film Festival for the movie version of Life After Life.
