Prior to creating her own marketing business in January 2009, Kate spent 3 years with Landmark Education, a global leader in training and development. As the Community Manager for their website, Kate was responsible for growing, maintaining and enriching the online community of 30,000+ global members.  Coordinating designers, developers, writers, consultants and executives, she launched a full-scale social network for this community on the Ning Platform.

Kate is passionate about her work, and the technology that connects people of like minds and interests around the world.  She keeps abreast of current thought and trends, and helps bridge the gap for those who are a little overwhelmed by all the “hype”.  Her approach makes social marketing manageable, affordable and effective for her clients.

Kate lives in Austin, Texas (the Social Media Capitol of the World!) with her husband, Chef Morris Buck, and her 2 step-kids. She enjoys watching sports, dancing (really, like ballet) and spending time out on the lake.
