Michael Craig at Meetup

The Fifth meetup meeting of the Logical Soul for Atlanta Entrepreneurs meets tonight at the Serenity Lakes Wellness Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  The meeting starts at 7 pm ET with networking and greetings, then a presentation by Dr. Craig at 7:30 entitled “Branding from the Inside Out: How to Turn Your Passion into Products and Services that Attract Buyers Like Crazy!”

This topic came about as a result of a lifelong search of Dr. Craig and others for the elusive idea “what I want to be when I grow up” . . . and how to actually make your own passion come alive for others to the point where they will pay you to have that! Dr. Craig will present the overview tonight of an all-inclusive course that will involve 9 instructors and last for 6 months.

If you haven’t yet made plans to attend, be sure to RSVP by going to http://www.meetup.com/logicalsoulatlanta.

Brigitte and Michael Craig

Brigitte and Michael Craig

I am interviewing myself as guest tonight on Logical Soul Talk at 6 pm. Why?  I think I have a few awesome secrets to share to help you “read” another person, whether they are your lover . . . or that neighbor of yours you can’t stand!

Understanding motives and behavior is the fist step towards knowing your place in the world and finding that happiness you’ve been missing.  Knowing your “place,” however, does NOT mean “giving in” or “submitting.”  It refers to a sense of belonging that all of us seek, but rarely take on.  Its a sense that, no matter what happens around us, I’m OK right here . . . content with being inside my own skin.

While happiness follows me these days, I made sure it never found me while growing up.  As a very awkward child, I could never have imagined myself being an elegant speaker or radio host.  In fact, as a child I was so physically and emotionally uncoordinated, I had difficulty forming complete sentences without lapsing into bodily jerks, silly sounds and sputtering.  I couldn’t look anyone in the eye, and remember thinking that no one wanted to hear anything I had to say!  Consequently, from an early age I learned the art of listening . . . and it served me well over the years.

Tonight on the show I’ll go into some of the beliefs and attitudes that brought me out of my own inner maze, and how you can develop some of these same inner skills needed to develop confidence as a good interviewer and speaker.  This information will certainly come in handy for your next job interview, negotiation, or argument with your spouse.

Call in tonight at (347) 843-4544 to enter the conversation!

Every set a goal, and then proceed not to reach it?

Sounds silly, but it happens all the time. In fact, its a wonder many of us achieve ANY goal we set out to accomplish. Self-sabotage comes in many forms: procrastination, fear, anxiety, jealousy, rage, and mostly just going unconsious to the world around us and inside us. We run the engine of our lives like a car crippled by dysfunction. On the one hand we give it all we’ve got – put the metal to the pedal with one foot – while slamming on the brakes with the other.

The result? A weakened vehicle and not much progress.

Powerful goals can only happen when we take our foot OFF the brake. Our inner resolve will then naturally reflect our outer results. If we are less than certain in any activity, it shows. If we hesitate for a split second before diving off the big board, we risk the belly flop.

Hidden decisions created long before we became adults constantly run our lives in ways we will never really understand. We only suffer the negative consequences.

I held a class called The Powerful Goals Program up until April of 2009, and witnessed how the simple act of aligning inner and outer realities can create an explosive power inside, and effortless accomplishments outside. Check out the introduction:

Enjoy! – M Craig
